Chinese New Year Celebration at The Farmington Library

Chinese New Year Celebration at The Farmington Library

Members of the Farmington Community joined together for a special program of culture, dance, cuisine and entertainment to celebrate the Year of the Snake. Crafts to go along with the occasion were provided in the children's room.

Thank You to our volunteer Jennifer Yousman, her daughter Laurie and her friends. The other adults who helped with the food and serving and the patrons who came out to support the program.
Special Thank You to Yumi Restaurant, Green Tea Restaurant, Highland Park Market, Stop and Shop and Chang Un Restaurant for their contribution to the delicious food. And for Mrs. Yousman's delicious dumplings!

Take Your Child to the Library Day

Oh! What a Magic Show

Daddy and Me

A ride on our magical horse

What a wonderful Take Your Child to the Library Day it was in the Children's Department.  Dads sang, played and read with their wee ones and who doesn't love to watch a movie while having lunch on a cold wintry day!  The festivities were topped off with rollicking magician, Ed Popielarczyk.
