Storyteller Ellie Toy visits the Library

Some scary tales were told at the Farmington Library this day.
Traditional stories were presented in their original storytelling form
and children were entertained and delighted as Ellie wove her web of words.

Bite Size Math Counts

Counting and making patterns and reviewing the signs of
"More Than" and "Less Than" were the subjects of this story time.
The kids worked really hard, counted many blocks and made shape patterns on a form.
Math is tricky and FUN.

Bite-Size Math Is Here Again

Children counted everything from blocks to dots in a wonderful story.  They explored the meanings of "more than" and "less than" and completed a worksheet that gave them the opportunity to practice writing their numbers.  They were "mathematicians, one two, three", and they were all successful.
